I am far too excited about the imminent departure of Santander from my life 🤣!
I now have just three accounts with balances:
1) Current account (switching by the end of the month)
2) Edge saver (interest due 21/02, following which I will empty it)
3) Savings (currently holding the cash set aside for the LISA on 06/04, with anything else in the account to go to Chip on the same day)
I am so looking forward to ditching their dreadful app, removed overdraft and everything else that has annoyed me about them over the last couple of years. This feels like a new beginning 🤣🤣🤣Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

My elderly MiL uses Santander, she needs help every time she logs on to the app. I still can't find a log off button. We are thinking of getting her to switch somewhere else..Mortgage Free November 2018

I can help with the log off button! Three lines in the top right-hand corner, then scroll right down to the bottom 👍
My opinion of the app has marginally improved since it stopped logging me out repeatedly (but it's OK, because I have a pic of Stonehenge at night in the background 🙄), but I still think it's awful. Even basic things like transferring money between accounts it doesn't always show that the balances have changed until I refresh the screen

So much for me diligently tracking interest earnings against my PSA to try and stay beneath it - HMRC have estimated I will exceed it by £105 and adjusted my tax code accordingly 🤦♀️! Not entirely sure why they have decided to do it now based on an estimate, rather than wait two months until the final figures are in - most of the shortfall is set to be deducted in the next tax year anyway, as they have decided to only take 81p from me over my next two months’ pay - but I guess that's why I don't work in the public sector 🤣

Why do survey sites have questions asking what level of input you provide into making business decisions, without specifying what those decisions might be about 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤦♀️? I'm involved in some, but by no means all 🤷♀️!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

For the same reason they ask what area of the business you work in when you’ve just stated you’re a sole trader! 🤷🏼♀️Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days
