  • OMG, I just endured the same mad One Poll survey about motorway services that I did about 10 days ago 🤦‍♀️ And still, when asking the reasons I might choose to stop at a particular services, "location" wasn't an option - which I would have assumed was much more likely than what I thought of the gaming facilities at each one 🤷‍♀️!

But I did get 10/10 on the Newvista Friday fun quiz 😀!
Just got thrown out and blocked from Onepoll! Wonder if it was that service station one as I did it twice but really couldn’t decide this station was best in the questions! Was just over £20 in credit as well! Annoying!

@fly-catchers you’ve not been using hotel/public WiFi have you? Or doing from abroad? This happened to me once and I emailed them and got reinstated (had no idea that using hotel WiFi used a vpn which meant they assumed I was abroad and therefore in breach of their t&cs.)
Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

That's a good shout, Vix. I've been blocked by them before for doing surveys while abroad. I had to send them a photo of me holding my passport to prove I was who I said I was before they would unblock me. They should be grateful I'm spending my time doing their surveys even when I'm on holiday 🤣!

No all those surveys were done at home. Though I remember when traveling by SouthEastern and using their wifi that I couldn’t complete a YLive survey because I was not in the UK! But with OnePoll I am always at home. Their other reason was giving unacceptable answers in their free text boxes. But 99% of the time I just put N/A to play safe! So have no idea what I could have put that upset them so much! And of course they never tell you!

I think my neighbour may have had a little too much to drink - I can hear singing! This is why people buy detached houses 🤣!

Whats the song? Or is it a medley?
    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

It was too muffled to tell 🤣! She (I think it is a she, they've lived there about 9 months, but I've never actually seen them) sounded happy though. Though in return I made sure to let the front door slam both when I went out for a run this morning and when I came back (neighbour's flat is next to the entrance 😀)
