South_coast said:OMG, I just endured the same mad One Poll survey about motorway services that I did about 10 days ago 🤦♀️ And still, when asking the reasons I might choose to stop at a particular services, "location" wasn't an option - which I would have assumed was much more likely than what I thought of the gaming facilities at each one 🤷♀️!
But I did get 10/10 on the Newvista Friday fun quiz 😀!2 -
@fly-catchers you’ve not been using hotel/public WiFi have you? Or doing from abroad? This happened to me once and I emailed them and got reinstated (had no idea that using hotel WiFi used a vpn which meant they assumed I was abroad and therefore in breach of their t&cs.)Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

That's a good shout, Vix. I've been blocked by them before for doing surveys while abroad. I had to send them a photo of me holding my passport to prove I was who I said I was before they would unblock me. They should be grateful I'm spending my time doing their surveys even when I'm on holiday 🤣!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

It was too muffled to tell 🤣! She (I think it is a she, they've lived there about 9 months, but I've never actually seen them) sounded happy though. Though in return I made sure to let the front door slam both when I went out for a run this morning and when I came back (neighbour's flat is next to the entrance 😀)Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Came home to a brown envelope with the HMRC logo on it. Opened it with some trepidation, as I wasn't expecting anything....
....Apparently they have conducted a review of the NI I paid 5 years (and 2 jobs) ago, and they are sending me a cheque for £383.59 😀😀😀! Hurrrah! Best unsolicited HMRC letter ever 😀!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
