What makes you think that the fault is in that light?
The light did have a glass 'globe' round it until someone hit it with a piece of wood! This was some time ago though

If you are feeling confident, you can unscrew all the other ceiling fittings until you find the one with the loose connection.

There is only the one consumer unit?  If there’s an extension, that sometimes has its own hidden away somewhere.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

OP has an electrician coming tomorrow... safer to leave it to them in this kind of situation.

Modern lighting circuits will have a 3 red or brown wires, these will be the live in, live out and live to switch. There will also be three black or blue connections, two of which will be the neutral in and out. The other black/blue will be the switched live.
But then again, you may have two browns (or reds) going off to the light switch.... Then again, if you have smart switches (as I do), there may well be a neutral (blue) to the back of each switch along with the obligatory earth.

Her courage will change the world.

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.

Just to update... the problem was solved swiftly and was nothing to do with the lights affected. We were taking down the Xmas Dec's when the electrician arrived and when one was taken down that was attached to a working light he noticed the hall light went on. There was a short wire in the light we touched and once that was rewired all was well.
