I'm always very impressed with anyone who has a meal plan, and the idea of having a night when everyone picks a single portion frozen meal is excellent!!
Gosh I'm tired. Ended up staying up a bit late with one thing and another, and then someone woke me several times to inform me that my snoring had woken them... 🙄 Ended up on the sofa at 4am, but it was NOT a restful night, and I was hoping to feel rather less sleepy for starting my new project today!
Hey ho. Tea will help I'm sure!
I've returned a bag full of work library books, and brought a load of paperwork in from home to go in the confidential waste bin so I'm claiming a decluttering triumph this morning 😁7 -

Boo to a disturbed night's sleep, hopefully, the tea will see you through the day 🫖

I'm with you on the disturbed night's sleep Cheery, although fortunately I was awake of my own accord, rather than being woken because of my snoring (I just get complaints about that during the day!). Books and paperwork is definitely a decluttering success!

Don't be @themadvix there are 4 of us 2 teens and 2 adults, it is arranged like this to take the pressure off us adults, this way we can each have some meals each week that others don't enjoy, these occur on set days each week so everybody should be prepared. We were gradually encouraging the children to contribute more in the kitchen but that has been hampered by our eldest becoming chronically ill and being very fatigued as a result, this is now being addressed medically and as their health and energy levels improve cooking and food prep are back on the table.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Well I'm still impressed too!
Gosh it's been a long day! Cheerful enough at work but I've definitely been tired and running on caffeine.
I did work the right number of hours though, and got home by 6. Did a half hour workout too (partly prompted by catching sight of myself standing up on a webcam 🙄😱).
Made some couscous with the last of the lettuce, the sweet potato I roasted the other day, and a couple of boiled eggs. Got the rest for dinner tomorrow 😊
Only thing I've spent today is £1.65 on milk to take to work - I'll be in all week so hoping it will last (I mean, it'll last ME, but it's now part of the fridge tea kitty...).
Down £12.06 on the Happy wheel today, must go and update signature...5 -

Evening MSE pals
Another cheerful day in the office, although I was tired again after a night of bizarrely energetic dreams. Slept on the sofa bed so we didn't have the same snoring incident, and I slept for about 9 hours, but I remembered SO many weird dreams - the roof of the house sliding off, having my head shaved, a death penalty from a charity for a minor infraction at a volunteering event, someone setting up a festival in our fields. Gosh. It was all quite exhausting. Clearly got a lot of things rolling round in the back of my mind at the minute
Anyway. Nothing much to report. Mr Cheery came with me and bimbled round while I was at work, so I only did 9.30-5. Detoured to Mr M on the way home for diesel (but the tanker was there so we didn't get any anyway), and a quick pop in the shop - spent £23.01 of vouchers.
Claimed £184 worth of expenses from my London trip which will apparently be paid on Friday, so that will make things look slightly better in the bank!
Made £9.50 on the Happy Wheel this evening, so back up to £43 for April now.
Back in the office again tomorrow (I'm in all week as I have a new member of staff working with me who started on Monday). I've got lunch packed though, and a parking permit booked, so no spending required.
Right, going to check if any of these books on WeBuyBooks are worth more on Ziffit...WBB have given me a welcome voucher which adds 10% I think so that might swing it (and also unless there's a wild discrepancy I'll send them all to the same place to save messing about).8 -

Right. 7 books turned out to be worth more on Ziffit (£3.30 more in total) so I completed the trade on there.
What I hadn't realised though was that this took me under the £25 threshold on WeBuyBooks, which meant I lost my extra 5%. I did get an extra 10% with a voucher on there though. Still, I think the overall difference works out about 20p.
Kind of wishing I'd just stuck with the one - I now need to package up two separate parcels, and while one has a doorstep collection, the other doesn't, but we can drop it somewhere we go fairly regularly so not too bad. I've arranged the collection one for Saturday so I don't have to mess about finding packaging stuff tonight.
Between them it should be £32.49, although I'm not counting it til it's in the bank - some of them are ex charity shop and while they're not grubby or vile, they're perhaps not quite pristine. We'll see.12 -
It's all "live and learn" on stuff like this I think - and ultimately it is most definitely £32 or thereabouts that you wouldn't have had before isn't it!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
