badmemory said:I have to be honest & say that when you mentioned spag pie I went with - mush & not a favourite. I mean tinned spag major overcooked. It says on the tin (or used to last time I had it over 30 years ago) NOT to overcook. I think you are very brave to actually eat it at all.South_coast said:We Buy Books might take the magazines as well Cheery, if your friend doesn't fancy themgreent said:As well as we buy books look at Ziffit and Zapper, Cheery. I usually find Ziffit has the best prices overall for the books I sell - but I will often split books between 2 sales sites to get the best price at both 😃4

I don’t put disappointing meals in the freezer either. They end up sitting there til whenever I defrost it then I throw them out 🤦♀️ I try to rescue them for immediate eating, but if I’m going to throw them out then better to do it right away than create freezer clutter 😂Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Fear not - I have not eaten the spaghetti bake, nor put it in the freezer, nor put it in the bin, nor fed it to the chickens 😂 Mr Cheery ate it smothered in BBQ sauce and declared it was worth making another one 😂😂
Popping in to declare a small triumph - the printer has been refusing to print for a couple of weeks now, not recognising an ink tank that had already been in there for several weeks and was printing fine before. Performed several resets, cleaning functions etc, stripped all the bits and cleaned them, but no.
About to throw it out of the window and replace, but something in the back of my head was telling me to keep trying...
Anyway, more rooting round the Internet, and it seems printers occasionally have updates which leads them to reject cartridges if they're 'compatible' not original ones...
Removed the cartridges (bizarrely just 3, not all of them) and replaced with spares- and now the printer is s good as new 😁9 -
Two very definite triumphs there! Mr Cheery liked the spaghetti bake enough to want it again, no small feat! And sorting a printer is great - I've had to recycle my printer, between the lack of bluetooth connection and the lack of google store-approved software for it (guarantee is invalidated if it's not store-approved) so now I have to buy another one. First world problems ...2023: the year I get to buy a car5

Won't be throwing it away, but also won't be putting it in the freezer - can't be doing with disappointing freezer meals, and I know I'll just pick round it for months so might as well just eat it now and be done with it 🙄Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

And cheery needs to make spaghetti bake once a week until her stockpile is gone!3 -
