    Oh taming/training dragons is lovely too! And, yes, far more veggie-friendly, sorry!

    Ouch to the insurance costs - hope you can get it down.

    Business insurance didnt cost me anything extra to add on so I can claim mileage.

  • I've had cheaper fully comp quotes than tpft quotes in the past, it's probably worth checking both options.

    Isn't it because the insurers think if you are prepared to pay for fully comp that you are more likely to look after your car, so it costs them less than if you have third party.

    I've been looking at insurance as DD1 is hopefully taking her test soon and may get a car.  On all the cars we looked at it said it was cheaper for fully comp.  Never used to be that way I'm sure

    Polite, obedient dragons are a wonderful thing - though, given my catsitting duties last week, it does tend to make me think of the phrase "herding cats" 🤣😺

    It's certainly felt like herding cats today KC!!

    Thanks for all your thoughts about car insurance. I too am sure it used to be cheaper to do TPT but I'll check what the quotes look like this time.

    Anyway, Monday is Finances Day (when I remember, and when it's convenient :lol: ) Banking, budget, house insurance, that's what's on the cards. I'm all geared up with my defrosted risotto and a nice cup of tea :smile: Will report back.

    Right. A good hour or so of messing about with house insurance quotes, and I've only found one cheaper than the renewal quote. £6 cheaper, to be precise, and with the same supplier, but with £100 extra excess for both buildings and contents.

    So the upshot of all that is that I'm just going to let the renewal role over. Worth checking, and £196 ain't a bad price.

    Car insurance next - but not today! Let's hope I can get that cheaper than the renewal quote!

    Now, before I fall asleep where I'm sitting...
    * washing up
    * covid test and questionnaires
    * happy wheel
    * yoga
    * possibly get something in the hay box (or possibly not, it's getting a bit late)

    Yawn.
