How does tax work on your Happy Wheel winnings? There is normally about a £1k per annum limit before you have to declare any out of work earnings isn't there? Or is it different because its gambling?Live the good life where you have been planted.

No tax, because it's gambling winnings. Makes things easier all round!
I still haven't got round to doing a boil wash, although clearly I should. Annotingly, after doing a perfectly fine was the other day, everything came out aoggy again this morning 🙄 so maybe my filter fix wasn't as good as I hoped... Or maybe I'd rammed the machine too full - I had both a giant fluffy dressing gown and a big bath towel in it 🙄
Have hung the bath towel in the chicken run to encourage evaporation- it'll need washing again but I'm happy to make that sacrifice.
We brought them into my study earlier and now they're hmfine, having a nice snooze with Mr Cheery in the cool.
I, however, am less fine 🙄 Felt rough with a sore throat all day, and now I'm shivery and achey and lying on the sofa with a hot water bottle (yes, really) feeling quite sorry for myself 🙄
Have I finally succumbed to the dreaded lurgy after managing to avoid it for almost two and a half years?! 🙄 I'll do a test later - we're going to see Mr Cheery's dad later in the week and given his COPD the last thing he needs is covid 🙄 If I still feel like this I won't be going anywhere anyway, regardless of what it is 🙄
Good job I'm off work I suppose, so I'm not missing anything!8 -

Well the test was negative so I suppose that's a good sign! Fortuitously, we have our covid study ones to do this week - might do those tonight and get them straight in the post. Should get the results back in a couple of days. I'll still do another home test before I go anywhere tomorrow though, just in case 🙄
In the meantime, paracetamol and a good rest! And staying away from Mr Cheery just in case!5 -
Good luck, Cheery! This year, it seems to take a long time between symptoms showing up and the test turning positive
Thinking of you, and Mr Cheery too.

Thanks all. At least it's cool enough to get the chickens back outside now - they were nice and cool inside but starting to get a bit bored and shouty 🙄 Having a nice mooch about in the long grass now while I sit on the swing seat with an ice pop.7

Ooh, great excitement - the electricity board has turned up. There's an issue not far away, so they're going to be shutting off our electric for a while 🙄 Not sure how long for, got everything plugged in while they do it.
These guys did at least accept an ice pop!6 -
Morning chums 😊
A rubbish night's sleep here, and I feel even worse this morning 🙄 Alternating between sweating and shivering, so I've got all the windowsopen and a hot water bottle, and am adding and removing covers every 10 mins it feels like 🙄
The only thing we had planned today was taking one of the chickens to the vets but I'm going to cancel once they're open - she's not ill as such, but has laid a few lash eggs in the last few weeks so we wanted to give her an implant as a precautionary measure. Nothing that can't wait a few days though.
Lots cooler today, and a nice breeze, which is lovely! Have dosed myself up paracetamol in a bid to stop the chills, and I'm going to have a nice calm day.
Will still try to ring the pensions people though...5
