gas meter not recording usage
After 5 months of sending my gas reading to Octopus I've realised my meter reading has been the same. I had a new gas boiler fitted 5 months ago which is a strange coincidence. I had a gas safety check a few days ago and explained that since the boiler was fitted my meter has not clocked up any units. He checked everything and said there were no faults..
Im basically getting my heating and hot water for free and I'm feeling guilty. I have kept paying my direct debit but I'm in a few hundred pounds in credit so this may stand out and I don't want to be hit with a huge bill or even a fine if I've broken any rules.
If anyone has been in a similar situation I would love some advice please.

They will need to change it if faulty & then estimate the usage based on your consumption, so it won’t be free, unfortunately.1
