Where to position Venetian blinds?

We are planning on purchasing faux wood venetian blinds from Blinds2go (we have done this in previous homes, and other companies we've had quotes from were very expensive!)
Two of our windows don't have a recess so we arent sure where best to place the blinds. One of the windows is 3.4m wide, so we are planning on putting 3 separate blinds in.
In your opinion/experience, would we be best placing the blinds in the wall above the window or the ceiling? We would also likely be putting a curtain rail up in the bedroom too. I have included a photo of one of the windows.
Many thanks in advance for your help 😊

If you want to go with the wall, which would look better overall, there are curtain poles that stand away from the window.I've inherited 3 in this place, they are brass and look oldfashioned but if I was leaving them up the 'finials' could be removed for a round knob or left as end of pole.Looking at one now and I've just looked at fixings for a roller blind, about 2", and these stand out at least 3". So close but as the curtain poles go some way past the window opening to let max light in they won't interfer with the blindsIf you want both to close then put the curtain pole on wood or some such screwed to the wall to bring them out more. If they are painted the same as the wall it shouldn't show with the curtains up.
