The defence was due on the 10th January, was filed on the 10th and has been acknowledged online and in writing by the court (letter dated the 10th). I've just received a letter from BW Legal (dated the 12th), offering me a monthly instalment plan to pay the debt. I'm aware this is just a standard letter and to ignore it but there is one sentence....

"Whilst our client is now able to request the court to enter a CCJ against you, it is still not too late to get in touch with us to discuss the options available to you to prevent a CCJ and avoid additional legal costs being added to your balance."

Obviously they can't request a CCJ to be entered against me. But is there anything I can do with this as its clearly incorrect? Complaint to the court? Complaint to the SRA? Or anyone else?

I would suggest that it's not worth complaining about that to anyone.
Even if you can find a body to actually do something about it, BWL will just say "sorry, we made a mistake" and that will be the end of it.

It's just crossed in the post.  They operate a template 'conveyor belt' model of intimidation and at that point, had not heard from the CCBC that the claim was defended.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I returned the N180/DQ form by the deadline on the 7th March and I'd received the one from BW Legal a week or so before.

I haven't heard anything else and neither are showing on the Money Claim Online website. Is that normal?

You did of course serve a copy of your completed DQ on the Claimant, didn't you?

Why not phone the CCBC - number on your Claim Form - and ask them what's going on?

Yes, copy went to claimant as well.

I'll give CCBC a call tomorrow.

Did you do so by e-mail and, if so, did you receive an auto reply acknowledgement?

You didn't see these suggestions in that list you were following when you filed your Defence?...

No, I followed #8 in that post and missed/didn't read #9/#10. And the post that is linked by #8 doesn't mention email.
    8. Wait for your own Directions Questionnaire from the CCBC, or download one from the internet - https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/form-n180-directions-questionnaire-small-claims-track , and then complete it as described by bargepole in his 'what happens when' post linked from post #2 of the NEWBIES thread - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/64350585#Comment_64350585
