    Well done on the small changes you are doing.  Yes, it is very hard to talk to strangers and it’s something that is ingrained into us at an early age, don’t talk to strangers.  
    I hope you find that the more often you do something the better you get at it.  You will soon learn by the replies you get whether to continue conversation or just shut up as not everyone will engage with you.  
    Now the covid restrictions have lifted are you able to join small groups of people?  Are there walking groups or mens sheds meeting places?

    As your therapist as said, the sessions with them are the easy part really - the hard work comes in between the sessions, both in terms of reflecting on what you have talked about but then putting in to practice new ways of managing situations. Well done for sticking with it.
