HP Desktop accidental damage Care package purchased and HP giving me the run around

I am reaching the end of my tether...back in late June I bought a new HP desktop All In One, with the 3 year Care package , assuming it covered any accidental DAMAGE (WHICH I WAS VERBALLY TOLD IT WAS).......In November sadly, whilst cleaning I dropped the desktop and cracked the screen....after speaking to so many people at HP, they just kept fobbing me off, and telling me that it would almost cost the same as what i paid for the computer...but I said I have the Care package, they said this does not cover any accidental damage, only in the USA...and I did not have accidental damage..BUT I said I was told I did...they just ignored that bit..

This is crazy and I am getting no help from anyone at all...

What can I do?

What does the contract for the care package say about accidental damage?  When the package/contract was issued, did you check that it matched what you were verbally told was covered?

Unless it was over the 'phone you have zero hope - in an ideal world you should have checked the documentation you received at the time matched what you were told when purchasing.
