12v lighting in home

Options
Hi. I have got some lights that I am fitting in my home. https://sealdesigns.co.uk/product/10-x-30mm-easy-change-kit-warm-white-stainless-steel-round-bezel/

But they are only 12v. Can these be wired to a 240v switch rather than using the mains plug that came with it.

To clarify, I presume you are meaning that you would keep the 240 volt to 12 volt transformer in the circuit and simply remove the 13 amp plug to provide the cable connections that you would wire to the switch?

If wiring directly, it's worth using a fused box with the same fuse as in the supplied plug.

Or a switched version to achieve both switching and correct fuse on the one box.
