Hi all,
We will be laying new laminate soon, starting at our fireplace.
It has just dawned on me that this should have an expansion soon gap too.

I can’t undercut the tiles. I can’t stand the look of trim / scotia. Can’t really silicone, as that defeats the purpose of the expansion gap.
The previous laminate didn’t have the expansion gap around the fireplace tiles, and didn’t have any issues.
Any ideas? Agh. Meant to be on it tomorrow!
Thanks!
