So I brought a sofa from scs, it's been repaired 4 times, after going back and forth over 2 years they are giving us a refund, I have it on finance with creation as it was o% finance, so my question is when they pick up furniture and cancel finance will I get all my money back that's ive paid in the last 2 years from the finance company

No. If SCS are giving you a refund, you'll already be getting your money back.0

Generally but not always the retailer will refund you and then its your responsibility to contact the finance company you got the finance from and pay them any balance owed0

I've had an email from scs saying that they will cancel finance then the finance will give it back to me, but because scs have lied so much I just want to make sure this is correct.0

Make sure you save any emails like this from SCS just incase you've to refer back to them at any point
Hopefully it'll be sorted smoothly for you0 -
Yes I hope it goes smoothly to, just be happy to be sorted and no longer dealing with them, ive made sure that everything is sent to me in an email even if they call me I record conversation, thanks fir your help 👍

There are no interest charges so there is no additional cost for finance. SCS should be refunding you and it's then up to them to sort things out with the finance company.

Yes I was thinking this thanks0

This is legally incorrect, the OP didn't pay SCS any money, creation finance paid SCS on OP's behalf, so SCS need to legally refund creation finance as creation paid them and then creation can pay you any moneys owed and cancel your credit agreementTELLIT01 said:

The finance company are equally and severally liable for the breach in contract so I see no reason why they are dealing with this in this way.TELLIT01 said:Doris04 said:So I brought a sofa from scs, it's been repaired 4 times, after going back and forth over 2 years they are giving us a refund, I have it on finance with creation as it was o% finance, so my question is when they pick up furniture and cancel finance will I get all my money back that's ive paid in the last 2 years from the finance company
