Best 12.9" refurbed IPAD ?

Looking for a cheapish ( I know Apple isn't cheap ! ) refurbed 12.9" Ipad - wifi only

It will be for my wife simply for browsing, pictures, videos ,email not work so quite happy for older model if it will do the job

Any suggestions which model will do and where to buy it ?

The original iPad Pro 12.9 1st generation from 2015 is still a very capable device even the base 32GB model. Looking at around £250-£300 for a second hand one so that is your starting point budget wise - how much have you got to spend?

But the battery on something that age will not be in good condition so it is a risk you will be taking.

Apple certified refurbs start around £800 for a 4th Gen if you consider that cheapish? Same models around £600 for second hand on somewhere like eBay.

Bear in mind refurbished means very little, if it is in good condition and full working order then nothing more than a factory reset and a wipe clean with a damp cloth will be classed as refurbished.

But budget is the biggest factor here - it is MSE and that should be your starting point - "cheap" means different things to different people - so how much have you got to spend?

Have you looked at the Accessibility options in the Settings menu to see if there are any which might make it easier for her, such as large or bold text? If so, a new 10" might be the better bet.
