@spudsmum I haven't tried vinted, but my daughter sells outgrown kids clothes in bundles (by age, eg bundle of age 3-4 boys etc) on FB marketplace, rather than individual items. It shifts pretty quickly. Not for loads of money, but gets rid of it and gets it used again! Might this work for you?

Anyone got any ideas what I can do with frozen damsons.
I've been gifted 3 large bags. They still have the stones in them.
I have a cupboard full of home made blackberry jam so don't really want to use them for jam.
I feel the stones may be an issue for other uses.
I haven't cooked with damsons and haven't frozen them before.

@Clutterbug07 - I like to batch cook things like curry and stew and get HM ready meals into the freezer. I like to get out the next night's dinner from the freezer to defrost overnight but if I forget it's easy enough to defrost it in the microwave before reheating!

Can I join, please? I used to be very careful with money and need to get back into good habits with the cost of everything rising.15

Mandy47 how about damson gin or damson vodka for next Christmas?14

You can simmer the damsons down, add a little sugar to taste and take out the stones. You can then freeze the mixture in packs on its own as compote to eat with porridge, rice pudding, semolina, ice cream etc or mix with fruits like stewed apples or pears.15

Spudsmum I haven't sold on vinted but I have bought a lot of boys clothes on there and really like it. Bundles go really well or you can do discounts if people buy more then one item.11

Just started a money saving blog and was a guest on a podcast this week, gave this thread a shoutout for how much inspiration it has given me and frugaldom's house buying story in particular14

Another one with rubber chicken today - great minds think alike! I cooked an apple crumble while the oven was on and did some roast potatoes too. Carcass is in the slow cooker for soup tomorrow tomorrow and I'll make curry with the leftover chicken and should get two meals out of it. Trying to make every pound go as far as possible10
