Supporting musicians. And finding things to make one feel better

I have been caught up in a lengthy, depressing and exceedingly stressful Insurance claim that is still ongoing.
Often I have not known which way to turn. (Sometimes I went to MSE)
Then Covid also hit.
During all this I had to try and find something to lighten my mood and take me away from the situation I had found myself in.
I turned to rock music and found some musicians and then a website where you buy from the artists direct.
Of course this is also great for them in lockdown, when they cannot perform.
You can even contact the artists. Also you put your preferences in and then recommendations are made of what else you might like. And you link up with other followers who have the same tastes.
You can also often buy single tracks.
This has actually been one of the best things I have ever discovered.
Here is an example from the website. It is called Bandcamp.
(You can choose your own music tastes and favourite artists within the website. And you even find your tastes shifting, which is also interesting.)
I hope this might help anyone else going through a rough patch and who needs cheering up.
Happy Christmas everybody.

I've been a fan of bandcamp for many years, it's a great platform to find lesser known artists. One of my favourite features is that a some albums are pay what you want, so I can download for free, listen when I'm out and about using no data, then if it's good give them some money! Here's my favourite freebie:

I didn't even know what I liked, until Bandcamp taught me this past year.
It turned out to be a blend of all this...
stoner rock, desert rock, heavy blues, psychedelic rock, Progressive Rock, doom rock, heavy rock, Space rock
Utterly thrilling.
And I am retired.... so you are never too old! And that's another "All things positive".
