Travel Card

I purchased a travel card for my upcoming trip to London. I had planned to go to Paris too as the trips were combined, one straight after the other.
With the Omicron variant now taking a grip my Paris trip is now off as France have basically closed the borders to people travelling. If we go into Lockdown after christmas OR restrictions are put on travel ( I Live in Norfolk ), can I then get a refund on my travel card?.
Looking at the terms it says
"We are unable to modify, exchange or offer refunds or cancellations for Travelcards, as they are date-specific tickets and once purchased they cannot be re-sold.
Would that apply if there are any government enforced restrictions?

It is therefore imperative to ensure your order is correct before confirming payment.
No exceptions to the refund conditions will be made, including where a refund is sought because of transport strikes or other service disruptions.."Would that apply if there are any government enforced restrictions?

I would suggest that they don’t offer much possibility at all of any sort of refund even if we go back to any form of restricted travel.

In that case I think you will be bound by the terms from Visit Britain - they've acted as your agent to get the travelcard for you
