Westland Jack's Magic multi-purpose compost 50L for £3.33 at B&Q

B&Q have Westland Jack's Magic multi-purpose compost (50L bags) for £3.33 if you buy 3 or multiples of 3.
Their website has it as a clearance product for £5 a bag but with an offer of "£3 for £12". However, if you put 3 in your basket, the total is just £9.99. Adding more puts the "per bag" price up unless you buy in multiples of 3 (6,9,12 etc). My garden centre has it on offer at £5.99 but as I need a load of it for planting up some new shrubs, I just popped round to my local B&Q and loaded the car up.
Not sure if this is a glitch on their website but I've got a dozen bags on my driveway now for less than £40.

Still puzzled after 17 years on MSE why people sign up and post to find solutions to problems they could have easily avoided by searching the forums in the first place.WD40 is not a panacea or lubricant. Stop spraying it everywhere!

Sadly for me it would be a 60 mile round trip so have to wait and hope post Christmas.
I may venture for a day out to the big garden centre in the hope they have a bargain.
The only normal people you know are the ones you don’t know very well

I am editing my post for two reasons. Firstly the Verve compost is cheap and cheerful while the Jack's Magic compost has reviews to suggest that it is a quality product. Secondly, Wickes are selling the magic compost for £2.50 per 50 litre bag.

Obviously, the cheapest and best solution is to make your own. At the moment, I fill up my garden waste bin every couple of weeks then pay money to get what is essentially the same stuff back again after it has been shredded and decomposed.

Thanks, Wickes is nearer so may just pop along there next week
