No. There is no requirement for child element of UC to go to the same person as CB.

Not sure on this scenario.
The OP is obviously entitled to claim as a single person, but the kids would still be living with both parents so i suspect it may be more complicated to claim that they are the ones providing for the kids

So can your ex move in with him? and I assume as she is now in a new relationship divorce proceedings have begun, as surely this will be proof of a separation.
