Easyjet manage booking - credit following rearranged flight

Leiden

I'm struggling to navigate the Easyjet website at present and can't face the prospect of ringing their customer service.
If you have to rearrange a flight, does everything with your original flight (hold luggage, seats etc) carry forward or do you just have an amount of 'money' to create a fresh booking from scratch?
What happens to any remaining credit if the rearranged flight is cheaper? Do you automatically lose that or can you put it towards a second flight if you wish?

In my recent experience, everything just carries forward, but if its cheaper you dont get it back. In fact it doesnt even tell you if its cheaper, it just says the change fee is £0 (when in reality it could be a minus figure)0

Yes, certainly hold luggage transfers. Not sure about seats as plane configuration might change.0

Thanks to all for the info.
Fingers crossed, it won't be needed.0 -
The problem with not being able to see the fare differences is, what if you have to change again? Does it take the fare of the new, changed flight as the starting point, or the original, more expensive flight?0
