I am new to sanders and got a bosch pex 220 plug-in sander which seems very good however, the sanding disc that came with it sticks on like velcro and i purchased some replacements from wilko which although the right size are paper backed and just fall off without sticking.
Am i missing something here as the bulk of the discs for sale all seem to be paper backed, i have seen some on screwfix which are from bosch but apparently paper backed.
How do you get paper backed discs to stick on?
Any suggestions welcome!

You need to buy the correct type that have got hook&loop backing on them. Here's just one example: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231864775606But if you stick "bosch pex 220 sanding discs" into Google you'll get dozens of results.

Plain paper backed disks usually have an adhesive on the back so that they stick to the sander.
