Can you claim from Abbey National for packaged bank account

Hi all, I have had my account for years, firstly with Abbey then Santander. My query is can I claim from Abbey for a package account I know i had back in the day? I followed the process to complain on here but Abbey are not on the pull down menu.

Abbey National and Santander are the same thing.   Everything to do with complaining Abbey National banking goes to Santander.

You don't claim anything, you put in a miss-selling complaint listing why you feel you were miss-sold the product and provide evidence.

Do note you say "back in the day" - there are 2 rules of finance that allow complaints to be time barred (i.e. bank can reject the complaint, no option to use FOS) - 6 years from opening the account, 3 years from when you knew, or could reasonably have known, you had reason for complaint. Closing the account triggers the 3 year rule as does the annual statement of benefits/costs letters they send out. Santander bought them in 2004 and they launched their first PBAs in 2008 if you opened before 2015  then that is likely to be the 6 year rule met and if they sent contact letters or you closed it more than 3 year ago, they will likely reject the complaint. If it was closed more than 6 years ago, it's potentially unlikely they have any records left anyway so you'd have to prove what you paid and how it was miss-sold (assuming they don't time bar it).
