In what way:
Crime?
Schools?
Public transport?
Shops?
Population?
Wildlife?
Value?
Etc
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
We lived there 30 years ago and it was fine then. Can't say what it's like now .Used to walk down to Styal with the children. There's a station in Handforth and the shopping centre at Handforth Dean plus some local shops nearer the estate.

It depends, everyone has a different idea of decent. To me a housing estate full of screaming kids sounds like hell but to others that's a big positive. Also living in an affluent middle class estate again would be the dream for some but again not for me. (These places just feel too judgy). My first home was on the edge of Wortley, Leeds. From memory the back end of Whitehall Road leading to Morley passed by houses that now I'd consider. Quietish and down to earth but many would turn their noses up. (Will say its over 10 years since I've been in the area so accept I might not want to live there now).If you let us know what you're after, sure someone could let you know if Lake's Estate is an appropriate fit.May you find your sister soon Helli.
