Anyone know what this is? I received a payment of over £160 into my account from ROTM91***/16**** The stars are numbers, but I didn't want to post them all in case it's something to do with my account. Had a google search, but nothing showing.
TIA.

I am not sure what the ROTM stands for but if the payment is for exactly £160 and you live in Scotland and have a child and on low income the Scottish government were paying £160 in December as winter payment to families where children get free school meals. May be totally unrelated and I can’t think why it would have ROTM as narrative. Maybe ask your bank to double check the payee?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards.
