In Lidl this morning and 12 mince pies were only 49p I didn't buy them because it's the sort of thing I class as a luxury item and I only buy what I need not something because it's reduced although I do buy reduced items that will make a meal.

As @Rosa_Damascena -- I view them as interchangeable with cake/tarts/crumpets as a dessert item. They are only "luxury goods" if they were full price

I had a pack of 6 Greggs mince pies and 3 Kipling mince pies, the other 3 are going in the bin. I can't bear the thought of eating another TBH!
