                    Hello,
Not sure which topic to post this thread but here it goes
I've purchased maisonette flat. Ground floor neighbour is picking on me since I've moved in
1. blocked my entrance with their boxes - had to take it up with the freeholder to have them removed. One of the box just crawled out blocking electrical meter access
2. try to claim communal area as well as the entrance (told me not to keep my bins - thrown my black bin in my garden this morning) - I asked for the proof of the ownership but she just walks away. I've already showed proof from my end
2. complaining about the noise (they can hear us walk, talk, keyboard typing) - its a flat built during world war 2 so such issue will be present. I mean i heard them talk, walk but I manage, not like them be the first to walk out and complain
3. she is picking on next door neighbours too. Small things like kitchen fan making noise, kids should not make noise in garden, dont play footy etc.. (so not only I who have issue with her). the poor guy was telling me its my house yet I have to be scared of her
4. she had issue me getting the internet cable into my building. She told the BT engineer to come over the weekend as she cannot bare the drill noise for 1 hole (get the wire into my house). She made me call freeholder to get the permission (which is fine)
It shows the type of relationship she wants to keep with her neighbours. She is always at the window watching and picking on people. Writing letters complaining about we should not make noise, close door slowly, your shoe smells in communal area (it does not and I am happy to take it inside if she clean up her mess in communal area)
The list just goes on
What are my options here?

 - Report her to the freeholder for the issues you have raised

Even escalating to the freeholder might constitute a "dispute" which would have to be declared whenever you come to sell.1 - 
            ASBO? Pretty much last resort.Might be worth starting a log just in case thigs escalate.Date/time; who did/said what; response etc1

yap kept all those letter - i am going to write one to her saying stop picking on us and show proof0 - 
            Are they tenants or leaseholders? Did seller of property note such behaviours in the selling paperwork?
Try & obliquely ask other neighours if there are any odd behaviours in the block.
Keep notes and evidence of these individual actions. After you've got about ten, consider if you should write to them a calm, polite letter noting their actions and requesting they cease and desist.
Such harassment may be (may be not) considered legal harassment, both a civil (fines) and criminal (record etc) offence.
Or sell up and move. You'd obviously need to declare it when selling.

They are the owner of the house. Do the seller have to specify neighbour behaviour in selling paperwork? I did not see any but I am sure they had the same issue. I've just purchase the house so i cannot afford to sell again just because of her

            It's probably best to continue your original thread from earlier this year so that people have all of the relevant information and don't keep asking questions that you've already answered. What response did you get from your freeholder about the issues?
