Made.com damaged table - Bought in Black Friday Sale

Hi,
I bought a table from made.com in the sale, plus applied a £50 code and free delivery was an option too (now £39). This saved me £199 in total, which was a great deal, but the table arrived damaged and is now out of stock in dark wood. However, the light wood option in the same design is in stock, is the same value and was also the same price in the sale. It is the exact same table, by the same designer, except it is in not the dark wood I ordered.
Made are offering a return and full refund, and are saying they can only do like for like replacements, which doesn't include the other colour. However I feel this is unfair as I still want the table (even if it is in light wood), I just don't want to pay an extra £199 now that the table is no longer in the sale and free delivery isn't an option.
I was really looking forward to having family around on Christmas Day and cooking dinner, as I've no dining table currently and £199 is a lot of money to me. What are my rights and what can I do? Made just apologise but say they can only offer a return and refund.
Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas to you all.

They are correct, they will refund you . Have you looked at any of the charity stores or local Facebook pages for a table. Even if it is scratched a table cloth can hide these things.1

They're offering all they need to - they don't even need to offer a replacement in the same colour if it was in stock; just a refund.
The price difference isn't anything you can enforce, if they just want to refund then that's their prerogative I'm afraid.
You can return the table for a refund or request a discount for the damage.1
