Has anyone done this trip in April? Just wondering if it’s a good month to go? Pros and cons please?

Depends how far north you go and which ports.

April will be cold or very cold, very likely to be wet and snow is just about guaranteed which can restrict what you can do outside of the main port area as not all roads are accessible.

we went in April and it rained..... a LOT!!   still wonderful sights and the waterfalls were fantastic due to all the rain

as davey says it does depend on what ports you are going to but Norway is stunningly beautiful at just about any time of year.    its also very expensive so a cruise is a good way to see more of it than perhaps you would independently

  • Make sure you have travel insurance and full refund rights if you can't go due to COVID. The way things are going it's hard to say if any trips will go ahead.
