Using Region G as example:
1 KWH of Electricity = 40.068 (virtually DOUBLE what we are paying at the moment)
1 KWH of Gas = 12.285 (over TRIPLE what we are paying at the moment)

No shock really given that Germany (under pressure from the US et al) is refusing to approve the new Russia to Germany gas pipeline.
Remember, Tracker prices are not wholly representative of future fixed deals but they are a good indication of the direct of travel re wholesale prices.0 -
All I can say is thank his I got off the octopus tracker in august0

... and both those caps (6p gas, 30p electricity) are potentially lower than the April Ofgem cap. Is a tracker allowed to exceed the capped price? I know that fixed deals are excluded, but I don't know whether tracker ones are or not. The scenario we are in, where wholesale exceeds the cap, was not meant to happen!

But when cap the tracker cap change? At least it’s capped I guess still glad to not be on it as I’m paying less than half of the tracker cap, it was a risk I went on it and didn’t gain as prices kept going uoQrizB said:

Think that’s been answered above seems to have its own cap which is currently higher than the normal cap but not as high as April cap is predicted to be.wittynamegoeshere said:worrywart_3 said:All I can say is thank his I got off the octopus tracker in august
