Just in relation to the CIS work (self-employed), it likely will be the case that they will act Ltd contractors for the same role.

I have a lot of experience in business, but nothing in construction and for the rest of this wouldn't know where to start to assist you, however by the look of things, you need to primarily look at cutting your costs which maybe sadly will involve redundancies.

At face value I'd also question some of the figures here, but I have to agree with everything Jeremy and Grumpy Chap have said.

It may be worth looking at offloading some assets (meaning vans as these seem to be your main asset) and potentially renting (deals available from £15-ish/work day+insurance) anything you need as it's needed.

This looks to me as a case of a business potentially needing to right-size to remain sustainable, which potentially it's not at the moment.
