Afternoon all.

I am trying to connect a router between the Lan cable and PC, There is no wifi network and trying to create one.

I have lan cable to router then from router back into computer. The wifi works BUT i now have no internet on the PC.

I am unsure what settings i need to change so i can have both.

Forgot to mention its a GL.NET GL-AR750S-EXT Router

Thanks in advance.

You have LAN cable from the router to the PC

You say you have LAN cable on the "other" side of the router (LAN cable TO router) - what is the other end of this cable connected to?

Who is your internet provider? BT? Sky? Someone else?

Guessing... the lan cable to router needs to be set up as LAN port rather than WAN port.
    should be enough info here
    Repeater mode for LAN port of AR750S-Ext? - Routers / hardware - GL.iNet (gl-inet.com)
"On the slate interface go to more settings/advanced, and reenter the password. now go to network interfaces. Select WAN in the blue text at the top of this page, then physical settings that is down the page a few lines. Click bridge interfaces and under interface select something like VLAN eth0.1 (lan)"
