End Terrace House - Soil vent pipe over neighbours land

Hoping for some advice on this.

We are having a loft conversion built at the moment on our Victorian end of terrace house.  There is then a small alleyway between us and our neighbors.  The alleyway is the neighbors land.

Our builder wants to run the SVP for the new loft bathroom outside the wall to then re-enter our property a little further along as there is a supporting beam that they can't penetrate with a pipe of that size.  Our concern is that technically, by building a pipe that extends outside our wall, even though it is 6m high, we are 'trespassing' on our neighbors property.  Our neighbor will probably never even notice it's there but we don't want to run the risk of them objecting to it down the line.

According to the Land Registry website, they don't keep record of exact boundaries, so could we claim that it's unclear how far from our wall our property technically ends?

    Depending how the LR plan is drawn, it may be clear that the boundary is your external wall - ie the entire alley up to your wall belongs to your neighbour.
    Do you by any chance have a flying freehold ie an upstairs room above the alley?
    But by the sound of it, yes, you would be trespassing, and even if the neighbour does not notice, or notices but does not mind, you could get problems later when either you or the neighbour sell, and a new buyer starts asking questions.....

    If it a new SVP just for that bathroom ask them to look at fitting a durgo valve instead.  Saves routing a lot of large diameter pipework.

    No we don't have anything above the alley.  Your point re: any future sale is probably enough reason for us to consider alternatives - a macerator is probably going to be required which we were hoping to avoid, but it's a guest bedroom so isn't going to get loads of use.
