Hi, my account and balance has all been transferred to Octopus (sept 25th), i set up a new direct debit for 20th of the month. However i notice Avro have taken another £90 on 6th December and now Octopus are saying they are going to take £90 on 20th. I did get confirmation my final bill had been issued from Avro.

Ok i think now i should have cancelled my Avro DD but i'm sure i read not to ?.....so where is my £90 now ? It does not show in Octopus.

If you have set up a DD with Octopus you should certainly cancel the Avro DD.
If Avro have taken a payment after the final bill was produced then that money should also be transferred to Octopus eventually.
  • On the 25th September by Avro account was in £124 credit, yet Octopus email me to say instead I owe them £102.on the Avro account.
They also say my final meter readings were unreliable so they used an estimate.
I have challenged their stated Avro balance...but wonder where the error came from

Do you have a final bill from Avro?
That should show you how they reached the £102 figure...
