Lost spare car key [Skoda]

I assume this is a fairly frequent problem. I left my jacket in a bar at the weekend, it was taken and sadly contained my spare car key. This is for a 2017 skoda octavia, it is a fob style key to open the doors and then an actual key for the ingition.

I have a security concern that someone now has a key with access to my car [potentially], so I would like a new key programmed to open my car and also to remove access for the lost key. I have no idea who I need to contact for this type of service. Being an unexpected outgoing close to Christmas, I would appreciate the most cost efficient option. Anybody have any ideas/experience?

I would try a local auto locksmith, they now have the kit to do full re-programs on many marques.  Might be worth posting on a VW Skoda forum.

Was there anything in your jacket apart from the key that would identify you or your address ?

I always found members very helpful when I had an Octavia.

I don't think so, I think it was just the keys and a hat, but cannot be 100% certain. This happened in another city, one hour away as well. I have posted into the skoda forums.

sorry to hear your problem, and good advice above - my friend who is a long time skoda owner said much the same.  I think you should take consolation from the fact that there is some low life walking around the other city clicking away trying to find a motor to TWOC (and to no avail)
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine
