I bought a frame of the peg from Vision Express and my regular optometrist had the prescription lenses fitted. When I took a closer look at the receipt I found that the cost of the frame was £38.70 and I had been charged £90.30 for dispensing services ( VAT free). Complaints to customer services and the CAB got me nowhere even though nothing was dispensed, I merely bought a frame over the counter.0
