Ryanair £55 charge after website error

Hello
like many we were furious when Ryanair charged us £55 each to check in at the airport. I had tried several times the day before to check in online but it crashed at the end of the process and reurned an error message. So we turned up at the airport in good time to check in. They are refusing to refund because we didnt report the error at the time. They said:
"In order to solve any
problems during online check in, passenger are required to report it to us via
chat or call centre when it is still more than 2 hours before the flight
departure time"
The people ahead of us in the queue reported the same problem but were not charged.
What can we do?
thanks
Ali

Not a lot by the sounds of it. Only option left available is Small Claims Court.Ali_001 said:Hellolike many we were furious when Ryanair charged us £55 each to check in at the airport. Check the terms and conditions. If they require you to notify them online as they suggest, and you didn't do so, you're not in a position to claim anything.0

I reckon a good chunk of current Ryanair customers have vowed never to use them again at some point, but....price. They can't help themselves.moneysaver said:2 -
About three years ago I told Ryanair via chat that I could not get their check-in system to function. They were totally uninterested.
