Credit Card Available credit vs balance

Hello There,

So I made a payment onto my card and my available credit increased right away do to payment being by faster payment. However my balance doesn't reflect this. If I were to now use my available credit this would seemingly take my balance over my limit..So What is the situation here, my available credit is false until the balance is updated or what? Seems a bit odd..

That should have read; due to the payment being made by faster payment.
