Anyone doing the Wealthify Xmas Hamper? MARKET.0

'Confident' is 65% equities which have generally returned over 20% year to date so it's worth considering if the return has been the result of any Wealthify asset allocation skill compared to what you would have got with a lower cost investment with the same contribution pattern.
As a passive investor, I would never have (knowingly) chosen the portfolio they chose. And not to talk about the ongoing balancing. I already have a list of SELL and BUY as long as my arm on my account.Although you might be passive in leaving them to do all the hard work the underlying funds have been selected by humans and allocated with designed algorithms. Looking at the datasheet for their Confident plan the geographic allocations don't seem to follow any global index that I have ever seen in particular they seem to be very underweight in US shares and going heavy on US bonds so I assume they have an underlying risk based capital markets model making these decisions. As you say there is a lot of trading going on so it seems to be a very active multi asset allocation which is why you would be buying into their skill.Daliah said:Anyone doing the Wealthify Xmas Hamper? I signed up on the 20th June. The offer was to leave it 6 months and get £40 cashback, cashback would be credited within 30 days. So the 30 days is up tomorrow, no sign of it yet and my all my gains have been wiped out in the last few days. I will contact them if not credited tomorrow.1

Customers had the option to select 12 months free management fees or the cashback offer and not both I'm afraid."
I don't remember selecting an option and I am pretty certain they were offering both at this time. But the link now takes you to Martin's page with the current offer.
