Fridge door not closing

We've been having problems closing our fridge door. Nowt to do with it being over full or anything like that but that the door is catching on the counter beside it. Now this is happening not to the fridge door itself but to the cover on the door that makes it look like just another cupboard as it's a 2 part built in appliance.
We can close the door if we give the outer cover bit a shove to the right and then close the door firmly but of course one doesn't always remember to do this. It's something that has only started to be an issue in the last week. I suspect that the bit that attaches the cupboard door cover to the actual fridge door has loosened or broken or something. But no one here is all that handy so I'm wondering how one can fix this. Is it a simple job? would a handyperson (should we be able to locate one) fix it easily? or is it a sign of a major reno job being required. (& lots of ££)
Must admit this is the kitchen that came with the house and is nice enough but no necessarily what I would choose. Don't think I would have ever gone for a built in frig/freezer myself.

Without seeing how it all goes together it's difficult to offer advice. Any handyperson ought to be able to sort it out.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.2

Given the way you mention shoving it to the right I assume the answer is 'yes', but is the fridge door loose?
If the answer is yes I agree with you, it's likely something has come apart or broken. It should be a fairly simple DIY job but if you aren't confident a handyperson can definitely sort it.1 -
Hi,sounds like a loose or dodgy hinge, check all fittings.2

Photos of the hinges may help to show if they have any adjustable screws? One may have come loose causing it to slump1

Ah, the 'mare of integrated appliances...Brie, as above - could you post some photos showing the unit door face-on, so we can see how it 'hangs' in relation to the unit itself. And then a photo of how the unit door is attached to the fridge door?If you can detach the linkage between the appliance door and the fridge door, so the two doors can swing independently, that should give you a good idea of where the fault lies. It's usually with the unit door.

We experienced similar issue recently. Moved here in Feb & after a few months, fridge door on integrated fridge/freezer started sticking/binding on next unit, then eventually almost came off. I managed to get a spare hinge sprocket (?) from here:

A handy friend diagnosed problem & helped us fix it. Cost £15 ish for 2 spares + a couple of beers.
When the freezer door started doing the same, my husband didn't want to bother said friend, so called out a local company. Cost £753 -
Will try to get some photos....thanks for the possibility of an easy fix!!! Hope we manage to do something before we wreck the counter top or the fridge door!
