purchasing property fronting on unadopted private road- issues with liability

    Sorry to jump on this thread but I wondered if anyone could advise whether this sort of arrangement is fairly common for houses on a private road (i.e., a house not having right of access on the only road leading to the property, making it landlocked, but instead having an absence of easement indemnity policy?)

    I don’t know whether to run a mile or not!!

    we have just sold our house with the exact same ,  we did an indemnity & a statement of truth which we had from previous owners , also had  an adverse possession on a small part of the garden, foam insulation in the loft ...you name it we had it ,

    Buyers had a survey with no problems , didn't sell cheap it was on par with this particular area & buyers had 75% mortgage .
