Checking my Equifax file I have found a search by ONFIDO LTD with the reason being 'ID check to comply with ML regs'.
I understand that ML stands for money laundering, as a pensioner I wished that my bank account showed transaction large enough to flag up an ML problem!
I have not opened any accounts, applied for a loan or credit card for quite a while.
Equifax have been far from helpful, can anyone give me info or any reason why this company would do an ID credit search on me?
Should I be concerned?
