Dentures that I can't use, can I get a refund?

I have paid £800 pounds for a denture plate with 2 teeth on to fill a gap in my lower jaw. When I wear it, it is so tight that it causes ulcers and goes down so low that it interferes with the ligaments to my tongue. Some minor adjustments have been made at the surgery but have made no difference. It seems it has been made too tight to stop it moving. It doesn't sit properly on my teeth as it goes down further when I bite on it. I am being told that I am just not suited to dentures! I would like to have one that fits properly, but if I can't get one could I ask for a full refund on the grounds that it is not fit for purpose?

Is the surgery that have now told you you're not suited to dentures the same place that sold you them in the first place?0

Yes it is Ergates. I went back again today, they are consulting with the lab that made it at the moment. I desparately want it work as I am not suitable for an implant.0

So the surgery that sold you a £800 dental plate are now telling you that you were not an appropriate subject in the first place? What discussions did you have with the surgery before committing to spending £800?0

They didn't say anything before I bought it. Now that I am having problems 'some people are not suited to dentures' To be fair they are still trying to find a solution, but it would be good to know my options if that doesn't improve things.0
