Make sure it has the correct mobile number....Not trying to teach you how to suck eggs but I've had it happen...
Make sure you put the country code in manually don't just tap on UK or anything.

Please forgive the obvious questions:
1) Do you have a Samsung phone?
2) If yes, is the tablet and phone both logged into the same Samsung account?
3) If the tablet brand new, or if second-hand, been fully factory reset?

Thanks for your comments, I did eventually get an email, so have managed to get in and finish setting it up. just need to switch off the Bixby off, drives me nuts.0

If you find a solution to that, please do share with the world - It drives us all crazy! Best hack I've seen is to remap the button to open a different applicationDeleted_User said:. just need to switch off the Bixby off, drives me nuts.0 -
Yes, remap the bixby key and use Google Assistant. On mine you can remap the button to do nothing.
Look in the Bixby app - settings - voice - turn it off.
Get rid of the Bixby screen by turning it off, so you don't accidentally swipe it.
Not sure if all these work on the newer models, but, worth a try.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

The amount of garbage on phones and tablets annoys me. Stuff I know I will never use, such as Bixby, just takes up space for no useful purpose.
