500 pound support

I have just been confirmed covid 19 positive, and trying to establish what financial support i can get, if any.  I have now got to isolate for 10 days, and it appears all i will be entitled to is the 96 quid sick pay, which frankly is an insult.  I work in agriculture, and the pay is piece work so essentially my loss of earnings is going to be significant, but the 500 pound support scheme appears to be incredibly vague and open to interpretation, and i was wondering what are my chances of actually getting it.  I have a family to support and all the household bills, to me that represents financial hardship.  I also have a small online business but that only provides a very modest income.  Sorry i havn't articualted the issue very well, but i am looking for guidance as to what my approach should be as it appears i need to claim off my local council (who have the power supposedly to decided what represent financial hardship)  Ty in advance.

i award the Self Isolation grants for my council, please apply as soon as possible, and you need to evidence a loss of income to receive it, but this should be fairly straight forward if you get SSP

Possibly take your holidays. You have a minimum of 28 days.

you are probably right, worked every second of lockdown, much of the time in atrocious weather, while the furlough system was systematically abused, and now when i need help due to laws of the country i am faced with the prospect of covering my outgoings with the measly sum of 96 quid, i guess this is Boris's much vaunted levelling up, to be honest you couldn't mak it up.
