That's something i didn't consider actually. My deal from last year ends in Feb 2022
    Day Rate 19.59 p/kWh
    Night Rate 10.08 p/kWh
    Standing charge 22.72 a day
With the current energy crisis, i'm guessing those amounts will be much higher.

    Was Offered Go for:
    Day Rate 24.25 p/kWh
    Night rate 5.00 p/kWh
    Standing charge 18.26 per day
Your current tariff is for E7? I'm not sure Go will work for you at all. Do you have storage heaters on a switched E7 ciircuit?
The current "Flexible" E7 rates for my region are:
    • Day: 22.01p
    • Night: 15.19p
    • SC: 24.19p/day
    No storage heaters. Why?

I'm now wondering why you're currently on an Economy 7 tariff!
E7 meters usually have a separate switched circuit for eg. storage heaters or water heaters. This switching might be lost if you move to Go. (I say "might" because Octopus might be able to keep it enabled in the meter). Even if it isn't lost, you'll be giving up 7 hours of off-peak electricity that you might want for heating, and replacving it with four hours which might not be enough.
But if you don't have storage heaters or anything like it, it's not an issue.

Have a look at the Octopus Intelligent Tariff. It uses the OCPP protocol built into Tesla cars to choose the cheapest energy prices.

Thanks, just noticed that in the first post, so I concur with your suggestion, the new 'Intelligent' tariff is most likely to be a better fit.
