HSBC Advance Account

I'm thinking of applying for the HSBC Advance Account, but the first part of the application process asks me to confirm that I qualify for a minimum £1,000 arranged overdraft and I don't know how I could know this prior to going through the full application process. I have just had a fruitless conversation via the online chat with the bank which took me round in circles and didn't answer my query apart from suggesting that I apply via the branch, which I had already said would negate the switch offer of £150. The wording is: -
'please confirm you meet the following criteria: qualify for a minimum £1,000 arranged overdraft'
Any ideas?

There's a tool to check eligibility here - Overdraft Eligibility - Welcome (hsbc.co.uk)a2mn1lt said:I'm thinking of applying for the HSBC Advance Account, but the first part of the application process asks me to confirm that I qualify for a minimum £1,000 arranged overdraft and I don't know how I could know this prior to going through the full application process. I haven't followed the link myself but you could find out whether you can select a £1K overdraft option.
