I purchased a vehicle from Landrover in 2020. A few days later numerous issues started to appear. The main issue is that the gearbox kept changing gear independently. I took it back to dealership but it was not fixed. As a result of this my gearbox failed and the dealership/warranty people said it was my fault.
Can anyone offer any advice please?

It'd be really useful if you gave the proper context and updated the previous threads before opening another and letting people waste more of their time
IIRC you bought from a Main JLR dealer but then took to an independent when there was a fault and JLR now believe issue was caused by either you or independent

Sorry, I didnt know how to do that. There has been no update. Warranty and dealership are still saying its my fault even though I emailed them a couple days after purchasing the vehicle to tell them the gearbox was faulty.k3lvc said:It'd be really useful if you gave the proper context and updated the previous threads before opening another and letting people waste more of their time

What is this warranty ?? who from .Why do they say it was your fault ??0

Because they said I had an oil leak which they told me about in a service and i drove the car while waiting for an appointment to fix it. However I have said to them the same principle should apply to them. as I told them about the gearbox not working properly.JJ_Egan said:What is this warranty ?? who from .Why do they say it was your fault ??0 -
Who is they ??Reading this as you drove a vehicle deliberately with a fault and dealer refuses warranty claim .Looks like you would need to go to court if you wanted to pursue a claim .0

The big mistake was buying a modern Landrover. They will take every opportunity to get out of paying for your repair.Mortgage free
