I've purchased the ones online and it doesn't mention the accessway, however within what is marked as the boundary, it includes the accessway as my house goes over some of it, the bit between the housesTrue. Does part of your 1st floor extend over the alleyway, or is the alleyway open to the sky?Worth checking if the alleyway falls withing the boundary of any other title, most obviously the neighbour, though could be someone else.

There is some mention on the title deeds about right to passage for people to the covered passageway (alleyway), but nothing specific about responsibility, but I'm assuming it's me then?2p off is still 2p off!0

What exactly does it say?And have you yet checked the neighbour's titles as suggested? Also worth doing a 'map enquiry' to see if there is a separate title for the alley.

Apologies if I've added in too much, but it states
he the vendor as beneficial owner, herby conveys unto the purchaser all that messuage or dwelling house number XXX street aforesaid togther with land forming the site thereof and used therewith (part of the original plot) and which for purposes of indentification but not of limitation is delinected and edged red on the plan drawn hereon
together with the appurtenances (except and reserved as mentioned in the original conveyance and also expecting and reserving unto the vendor his sucessorrs title and his and their tenants (in common with the purchases and the persons deriving title under him and his tenants and all other persons entitled thereto) the right to pass and repass with our without barrow vehicles and animals over and along the covered passage colour yellow on the plan drawn hereon
I did a map enquiry, but couldn't see a separate title for the alley
2p off is still 2p off!0
